I think we certainly reached our mandate of a little bit of bedlam and a whole lot of fun! Congratulations to all those who ignored the weather and came out to our Welcome Meet and Sprint Challenge. It was a great mixture of beginner to ‘veteran’ orienteers and I hope you all enjoyed the experience.
Britannia was the perfect venue to watch our elite runners as well as keep track of those coming out for the first time. We invite you all to join us again for our next meet at P17 in the Gatineau Park …. A totally different experience! Thank you to the incredible number of volunteers who enabled us to pull this off and make it a special event. For another twist to orienteering, we are also offering a chase sprint at the end of May, as well as our regular ‘B’ meets and the popular Summer Solstice series on Tuesday evenings.
