Challenge the GAT's Fall Adventure Run / Rogaine

Saturday, October 22nd, 2016

Come and join us for a great day in the woods!

2016 Event Information

Our fall GAT's, as always, has Score-O style courses. Participants will visit as many checkpoints as they can (or wish to) to collect points within the course time limit. It is up to participants to choose their route around the course and between checkpoints using a course map and compass.

We have introduced a new format for this year. The two hour event is designed for families, clubs, juniors, solos and those new to orienteering. Please note the special pricing for these people. The 3h and 6h events are team events with two, three or four members. The price includes a hot banquet-style meal and the awards party for both events.

The 6h event course will cover an area up to 25km² using a detailed topographical map. The 3h course covers ~15km2 and the 2h covers ~10km2.

Everyone is welcome, whether you are recreational or competitive. Solos are accepted for the 2h event only. We would like to encourage you to be part of a team of 2, 3 or 4 for the 2h, 3h and 6h events. The acronym ROGAINE actually means Rugged Outdoor Group Activity Involving Navigation and Endurance.
