The beginner juniors (age 8 +) will meet as a group Sunday morning's prior to some of the local events. Advanced juniors Robbie Anderson and Jeffrey Teutsch will be the head coaches. They will teach the kids the basic skills of orienteering by going on map walks and short exercises in the woods. The kids will always be with an instructor if necessary based on their level.
The beginner orienteers will then have the opportunity to try the beginner or intermediate course organized by the club on their own or with their family.
Contact or for specific details on the beginner sessions.
