2021 Ottawa O-Fest

Ottawa O-Fest is back for 2021!  The two-day event is scheduled for October 16-17th (the weekend after Thanksgiving) in the south-end of Gatineau Park.  What better way can you think of to spend an October weekend in Canada than running around in the woods of Gatineau Park?

This year's event will be a little low-key compared with previous years; however, you can expect the same high-quality courses that you are used to!

We will be adjusting start times and arena set-up to accommodate COVID restrictions that are in place on race weekend.

We are very excited to have a new version of our old Cité des Jeunes map!!  The area was remapped in 2021 by Jeff Teutsch. It is a technically challenging area with lots of hills and rock features.  Definitely world-class terrain!

Why?

Why not?

We love the crazy sport of orienteering and want to share that love with you. What better way to do that than with a weekend of competition, food, and friends in one of the nicest times of the year in Ottawa?

That's why our volunteers put thousands of hours into hosting events throughout the year and the O-Fest weekend is no exception. It might be a larger event but we still do it because we love it.
